Farmhouse owner Jackie Silvestri, who also owns the Downtown Dough cookie business, tells me the menu launched last week and contains only one holdover, a fried-chicken sandwich. New items that caught my eye include shrimp and scallops with bacon jam and a citrus-smoked paprika sauce, clam pizza, fig-prosciutto pizza and one of the most unusual version of chicken Cordon  Bleu I've ever seen (in photo).

The restaurant's founding chef, Brandon Johnson, previously a sous chef at 15 Church in Saratoga Springs and Mountain View Brasserie in Greenville, left in August.

Farmhouse Tap + Tavern is at 186 Main St., former home of Veronica’s Culinary Tavern and, before that, the wine bar Mio Vino. It serves 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday. Call 518-595-5045 or reserve online
